Abstract
Drawing on recent large-scale research across post-war countries, this policy memo highlights how contextual intergroup contact and pre-war ethnic diversity strongly influence reconciliation outcomes. It thus recommends contextualized and multi level strategies to ensure that peacebuilding efforts are effective and durable.
